THANKS for visiting my Sale Listing !!You are considering PURCHASINGTWOVINTAGECOLLECTIBLEPRE OWNEDANNA LEE DOLLSModel # 6850 and 6855 - 1986(1) Mr. Santa Claus(1) Mrs. Santa ClausThese TWO MATCHING - great - Anna Lee Dolls belonged to my Mother. She loved her Anna Lee's! We inherited them and we are having to downsize so we must part with many of our finest COLLECTIBLES These both are dark BURGUNDY in color. They are not fire engine RED as in most examples. They both are in very good vintage condition with no serious damage. NO holes, cuts, tears to the clothing. They are clean and from a smoke/pet free home. They are each identically supported with the same heavy/sturdy vertical wire that goes up inside the back of there clothes - in the rear. This ONE PIECE, thick/sturdy, long vertical wire forms a CIRCULAR BASE which is covered with COTTON (snow base). Mrs. Claus's snow covered, circular wire base is perfect (photo #9) but I note that the circular wire snow base on Mr. Santa looks to have been possibly(?) slightly modified or reconditioned (See photo #8). The difference in the bottoms of the SNOW bases in both examples are shown in photo #8 and #9. This looks to be a modification of the snow (cotton) wire base for Santa's compared to Mrs. Santa's base which looks original. I have not added/attached additional COTTON to this SNOW base which would basically cover up the modification shown. No big deal here - in my opinion - just something that can occur to some of these more fragile areas over about a 35 year period of time, use and storage. More cotton (snow) and this issue would be basically unnoticeable - in my opinion. I also note a paper scuff at one corner/edge of the paper cardboard holiday "box" that Santa is holding (photo #10). This glossy printed miniature holiday present/box is usually lost over time but this one is fully intact with only super tiny rubs at its sharp corners and the larger rub which is located on the BACK - InSIDE/TOP of the BOX and is extremely difficult to see and or notice. A magic marker of like color would quickly touch these up nicely. Each has a sprig of holly on the inside hood. Mrs. Claus has a faux, white ivory, fur-lined cape, cap/hood and warm hand muff, green scarf and gloves....Santa also has matching green gloves with his famous black boots ADORABLE ... each doll is mobile, pose in any fashion you desire.Burgundy (NOT RED) velour outfits, green gloves, ivory trim, snow bases (Cotton).These FINE vintage examples would make an outstanding addition to anyone's Anna Lee collection Please check-out closely, the many photos that I have posted above for your own, personal evaluation. vintage annalee dolls Grandma and Grampa Go Fishing And Have A Bit Of Luck

Vintage annalee dolls grandpa and grandma go fishing perhaps its Santa and Mrs Santa. Not quite sure. In an event they are fishing and have caught some rubber fish. Has the tags. Please look at the picture of her hat and determine if this is damage or is supposed have an aged look. Other wise excellent one fish has come loose and it has a significant amount of shelf dust the new owner will need to clean . 13 + inches long and 7 inches tall.
