This very rare Annalee PONY EXPRESS doll features a 10" Rider with squinted eyes, brown hair/mustache, tan hat and jacket, red bandanna, brown pants, and dark brown boots. The 12" horse has open eyes, brown body, black mane and tail, dark brown saddle and gun holder, tan saddle blanket and two U.S. Mailbags. Is from the Doll Society Folk Hero Series. As with all Annalee Mobilitee dolls, the felt-covered wire frame body can be bent and posed to your liking. The dolls are mounted on an oval piece of wood which measures 13.5" x 8". The bottom is covered in green felt. There is a brass plaque on the wood with the title of the piece, with the Serial #1017 and Annalee's signature. Chuck Thorndike also signed on the wooden base. Condition is excellent. Original hang and tush tags. Made in Meredith, NH. From SMOKE-FREE home. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
