ANNALEE Mobilitee Hot Air Balloon with Two Frogs Large Vintage 1970's Mobile
ANNALEE Mobilitee Hot Air Balloon with Two Frogs Large Vintage 1970's Mobile
SOLD $75.00 Sold: Jan 22, 2025 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
Made in New Hampshire, USA by Annalee Mobilitee Dolls ©1969, this "mobilitee" hangs from the ceiling and would be delightful for a nursery or child's room. It measures about 26 inches from the top of the balloon to the bottom of the hanging basket. The balloon itself is about 14" tall. The frogs are hand painted, hand sewn felt over wire frames so that they're posable. Both have open eyes. Top frog wears a yellow aviator's cap, brown goggles, and a white scarf. The other frog wears purple and white gingham shorts with a white collar and rides in a little wicker basket hanging by jute strings. This possibly has spent its life in dry New Mexico, so the outside of the balloon does not feel tacky, but the stuffing inside has crumbled and I think it may have been replaced. The jute strings are a little frayed and have come unglued from the balloon in spots; the glue seems to have dried out in places. Everything else seems to be in good condition for its age. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
